Two years later: how is the Aēslift doing for Anita Witzier?

Two years ago, Anita Witzier chose an Aēslift: Aēstec's unique, scientifically backed, lifting treatment. Her wish was clear: a fresh, rested look without her face looking different. No pulled-tight effect, but a subtle rejuvenation where she would remain completely herself. Anita recently returned for a check-up. A perfect moment to look back together and assess how the results have developed over the past two years.
During her recent visit, we again looked at photos and video footage. What stands out is that the contours of her face are still beautifully preserved. The jawline looks sharp, the cheeks still have support, and the natural balance in the face is present.
This is precisely what the Aēslift was developed for: restoring volume and support at strategic points in the face, creating a natural lift without anyone looking different. Two years later, we still see that result in Anita.

A question we receive regularly is how long the result of an Aēslift remains visible. With an Aēslift, the face is supported at strategic points with hyaluronic acid fillers. This restores lost contours and creates a natural lifting effect. On average, the result remains clearly visible for about two years. After that, the effect gradually decreases as the fillers are slowly broken down by the body. This process happens gradually, so the face does not suddenly return to its original state.
To maintain the result, small touch-up treatments are often sufficient. Only a limited amount of filler is used to maintain support and contours. In most cases, a full Aēslift is therefore not needed again, but a subtle maintenance treatment is sufficient to preserve the lifting effect in the long term.
An Aēslift is not a quick fix or a one-time treatment. Although the result is visible immediately after the treatment, the optimal result is achieved after about two weeks. At that point, any swelling has disappeared and the fillers have integrated beautifully into the tissue. Depending on the face and the patient's wishes, our doctors frequently choose to build up an Aēslift in multiple steps. This allows the result to be gradually built up and monitored. This gradual approach creates a lifting effect that looks natural and perfectly matches the patient's unique facial features. The goal is therefore not to add as much volume as possible in a single treatment, but to step by step create a fresh, rested look that is completely in balance with the face.

In Anita's case, we see exactly what we want to achieve with an Aēslift: a natural result that remains beautiful in the longer term as well. Two years later, her face still looks fresh, soft, and balanced. Not because time stood still, but because the treatment helped restore lost support in a relatively natural way.
'The result does not look treated. It simply looks like Anita.'
That is precisely why many patients choose an Aēslift. Not to look like someone else, but to look more rested, vital, and fresh in a way that suits their own face.
At Aēstec, we do not believe in changing faces. We believe in preserving what makes someone unique. Anita is a beautiful example of this. Two years after her Aēslift, we still recognize the same Anita. Her expression is natural, her facial features are unchanged, and her face still looks fresh and balanced. And that is exactly what graceful aging is all about to us.
